Johnny, What Have You Done?

This is a letter I wrote to one of the characters in " The Outsiders" confronting him on what he has done

Dear Johnny,

I know that things are rough now, and you’re probably feeling pretty lonely, but you killed someone and things will never be the same. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you could have just risked your best friend’s freedom and possibly even your own life. Normally in a situation like this I would tell you to turn yourself in, but you ran away from your crime, Johnny. Now you’ll get punished even worse than you already would. If I were you, I don’t know what I’d do, which is why I’m glad I’m not. Killing someone is terrible, but you dragged Ponyboy into this, and if he gets hurt, it’s on you. Do what you think is best, you dragged yourself into this mess now you’ll have to weave your way out. My only advice to you is that just because Dally gave you that gun does not mean you need to use it, the last thing you need is another murder on your hands.

Sincerely,
Ali
